I have a strong professional background in computer science, data science and IT, with over 7 years of industry experience. My skill set covers web development, database design and interactive data visualization. I am currently pursuing a PhD in interdisciplinary neuroscience research, applying state-of-the-art statistical machine learning techniques. I also have a master’s degree in data science with first class honors, where I learned and applied various concepts and tools such as machine learning and deep learning with pytorch and other relevant libraries (numpy, scipy, sklearn, pandas); computational statistics with R; visualization, natural language processing and more.
Experience
This project aims to integrate multi-omics data sets from brain tumour experiments using statistical methods. The goal is to advance our knowledge of brain tumour biology. I’m currently working on designing a new algorithm to better understand the brain tumor from the spatial transcriptomics RNA sequencing data. The project is in collaboration with the Department of Brain Sciences at Imperial College London.

responsible for biomedical machine learning/AI models development. The first project is about developing a model for Drug-Target Interaction prediction with Graph Neural Network combined with the attention mechanism. Contribution: Graph Neural Network implementation, benchmark control group training, results collecting, thesis writing.

SPAM SMS identification: fine-tuned an NLP model to classify the SPAM message, and built it as Restful APIs. This will be the foundation for a smartphone security app project in the future.
Combating news on Twitter: I did the visualisation with node-link diagrams and thesis writing in the team.
Cryptocurrency price trend prediction: I did data collection, database management, Web UI development in the team.
